Preschool Program (3 years - 5 years)
Preschool Program (3 years - 5 years)
This program is specifically designed to support and enhance children's growth in all developmental areas as they prepare for kindergarten. We believe in learning through play, which allows preschoolers to build on their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills in a fun and structured environment. Here is an overview of our Preschool Program: The main focus is on preparing children for the transition to school by fostering independence, curiosity, and a love of learning. We believe in play-based learning, which helps children develop critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills while interacting with their peers and exploring the world around them.
Key Focus Areas include:
Focusing on routines and responsibilities to help build self-regulation and independence.
Introduction to early literacy and numeracy concepts through storytime, writing activities, counting games, and simple math tasks.
Science and nature exploration to foster curiosity and a desire to learn.
Supporting gross motor development through outdoor play, dancing, running, and obstacle courses.
Encouraging self-care skills such as dressing themselves, washing hands, and organizing their belongings.
Fostering early literacy through phonics games, letter recognition, and opportunities for children to practice writing their names and simple words. We are excited to offer this program and support your child's growth and development. If you have any questions or would like more information, please feel free to reach out to us. We look forward to welcoming your child to our Preschool Program at Learning Through Play!
